Local Artist Christine Gusek at Grandma Lukes
|
|
|
|
|

Christina Gusek's art is described as "colorful and ferine
with a flatulent sense of humor, like sitting on a uterus-shaped whoopie
cushion studded with razorblade's".
"The most important thing for me to do is make people feel
uncomfortable. I have always known since childhood that this was my purpose
in life, the problem is I also enjoy making people laugh. So with a little
bit of love and tenderness, I try to show the audience that there can be
humor in a swift hammer to the head."
Chris is an artist transplant from western Massachusetts and currently
resides in Atlanta, GA.
She can be contacted directly at: chris@theytoldme.com
